The Oklahoman's Jacob Unruh writes that Jeff Shafer has accepted a position at Tecumseh where he will be the athletic director and head baseball coach after spending one season as the head coach at Edmond Santa Fe.
"I think that was something he was hoping to pursue for a while," Santa Fe athletic director Barry Blagowsky said. "I think the opportunity just came around sooner rather than later."
