Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the GM the BDM will be responsible for strategic business growth within the QLD Sea Freight market. Key responsibilities will include:

?

• Implementation of the sales plan and business objectives
• Execute business with assigned SME clients
• Report to GM and National sales manager on forecasts and sales planning activity
• Execute sales process efficiently and effectively
• Responsible for current and future business operations
• Increase market share within the Sea freight space
• Increase activity across business unit while maintaining GP margins
• Regional business development in alignment with national objectives
• Contribute to sales strategy set by national sales manager
• Business growth and success in this position will develop the role into a management position (2-3 heads over 18 months)

Essential Skills:

?

????? Applicants need to be able to demonstrate 2 years Sea freight experience within the QLD market.

????? Ability to contribute to and execute a sales strategy

????? Manage the performance of a sales team inline with national objectives

????? Self management

????? Ability to make strategic business decisions reflecting on business growth

????? Ability to negotiate at board level
